A Gift Guide for the Fashion Icon in Your Life
As always, happy Sunday, B&B readers, and happy birthday to me (yesterday) and my mom (today)! In honor of our birthdays, I’ve put together a little gift guide for the fashion icon in your life. Let’s go, girls!
Pajama Set
I love this one because I know so many fashion girlies who wear PJ shorts and a big t-shirt to bed (I am one of them). I think we tend to neglect our nightwear because we spend so much time and money curating our day-to-day outfits, PJs just seem like a second thought. However, there is something about a cute little PJ set that makes going to bed feel like a luxurious experience. Plus, you can find them anywhere, including Etsy (along with most items on this list), and we love to support a small business.
Hair Accessories
A cute hair accessory is such a sweet gift because, as we all know, accessories are what truly make an outfit. From scarves to barettes, to claw clips to headbands, to hair ties with cute little gems attached, the options are truly endless, and there’s something out there for everyone. I love the idea of getting someone a personalized hair accessory, too, like a claw clip with their initial engraved on it or a scarf with their name embroidered.
Packing Organizers
This one truly came to me in a vision when I sat down to write this article. Could it be that I was watching my boyfriend pack for a trip? Perhaps. Or is it pure genius? Yeah, that sounds more like it. A cute set of packing cubes or a travel jewelry organizer is bound to be appreciated by your travel fashionista bestie. Baggu always has such cute packing cube sets, and there are so many cute travel jewelry organizers.
Statement Earrings
I love a statement earring, as do so many. They have the ability to take a look at the next level absolutely effortlessly. I think this is another thing that gets neglected when shopping for yourself. It’s so easy to stick to the basics with jewelry, especially earrings, because they’re often investment pieces. People like buying earrings that they can wear every day with every outfit. Getting them something fun they can play with will definitely result in an excited squeal upon opening.
Curated Thrift Haul
Now this, this is my favorite gift I’ve ever gotten anyone of all time. I truly think it is one of the most thoughtful gifts you could ever get a fashionista. This gift shows time, effort, and pure understanding of your loved one. There are so many ways you could go about this gift, too. For example, you could try to style an entire outfit from the thrift, maybe even for a specific event they have coming up. However, my favorite way to go about this gift is to sneakily stalk their Pinterest boards and find as many pieces that fit their aesthetic within my budget as possible. Even if they’re not an active Pinterest user (I know my best friend isn’t), I feel like it’s totally okay to reach out and ask what kind of pieces they’ve been eyeing lately because it will be so worth it in the end.
